Library Rules and Regulations
Opening hours:
• The library will remain open from 10.00 am to 4.00pm from Monday to Saturday.
• The library shall remain closed on all Sundays and all holidays.
• The circulation counter shall remain open from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm.
• The reading room shall open for the users during the working hours of the library.
The General Rules:
- All persons entering the library will have to sign the gate register.
- All users must observe total silence in the library premises.
- Students should enter in the library wearing college uniform.
- Bags or any other personal belongings of the users are to be kept at the property counter placed at the entrance of the Library.
- No books or other reading materials will be issued to the users without their library card.
- Mobile phones /pagers/ tablets/ laptops within the library premises can be used with prior permission from the library authority.
- Smoking, drinking (other than water) and eating shall be strictly prohibited within the library premises.
- Any type of loss of or damage of books must be reported to the Librarian immediately. The user will be held responsible for any damage or loss of library materials in their possession and will be required to meet the cost of replacement and processing.
- At the end of the academic year all books must be return to the library. Otherwise he/she will not get his/her admit card of any university or board examination
- The librarian shall be vested with the power to suspend the library privileges of any user for violating any of the rules and regulations of the library at any time.
